They must be written to in order to get the exact ‘date of death’ value.

Contrary to popular belief, DEBTS DO NOT DIE WITH YOU !

Ignoring debts may result in the Executor/Administrator being personally liable to pay them if recovery from the Beneficiaries is not possible. If the debts are in dispute or unpaid after six years of being called in or are the subject of County Court Judgements you may need professional advice.
